“Beware of artists – they mix with all classes of society and are therefore most dangerous“. ~ Queen Victoria

My lovely feltmaking guru, the artist Dawn Edwards, is being featured in a new interview on the blog of Felt United. Her words are lovely, and inspiring. I love what she has to say about taking on the weight of the moniker, "Artist." Such a heavy word. Dawn is a warm, and kind hearted person, and she really shines in this interview. Find it under "Featured Artists- U.S."

  1. Oh, Meagan, thank you so much!!!! I hadn't known that you had a blog, and just followed it from your Etsy shop after first seeing your beautiful rug on Facebook...quite the journey I've made to find your blog ;-) So, I've been reading all of the past blog entries, and ran across this. You are such a dear....What a gift to be reading along and to find this entry. Makes me happy to have met dear friends such as you through this gift of feltmaking. I still remember that beautiful bag that you brought into the workshop at the KIA and how we talked of our mutual admiration of all things Elis-made ;-)

Thank you again Meagan. And, your blog is wonderful...so glad that I found it.

    Big hugs,
    Dawn

  2. Thanks Dawn! And congratulations on your new Felt United gig! I felt like I needed to document what I do, in order to see where I've been. However, I've found that I'm a terrible blogger. When I sit down to write, suddenly I have nothing I say! I suppose I mostly do this for myself. You're probably the only reader :).
